That was it for this holiday season!  We’ll see what next year brings us. 

The girls each pained their Dizzle a picture for his birthday this year.  Hennessey was finished with hers so quickly that I didn’t even have time to snap a picture between brush strokes, so Tailynn is kind of the feature here.  They both turned out lovely, however. 

Hennessey wants to do everything Tailynn does.

Everything.

So when Tailynn wants to be “in her body” to go to bed, now Hennessey demands to sleep in her body as well (lets hope she doesn’t figure out that diaper thing any time soon, eh?).

The other night Tailynn wanted to wear a nightgown.  So did Hennessey.  But Hennessey doesn’t have any of her own nightgowns, so she borrowed one from Tailynn.

Tailynn gave one graciously.

Oh little Hennessey!  What a little mover and shaker you are now! 

She just started walking not too long before this picture was taken.  She’s also FINALLY got more than six teeth (it quickly went from six to ten!!).  There has also been a drastic increase in verbal skills, such as:
“I want dat.”
“I want dis one.”
“I want ‘nana.”
“I want milk.”
and of course…
“No.”

Sometimes it feels like I have TWO three year olds in the house!

Oh! You can also see some of our new paint colors!  Peach on the right wall, green on the back, and we have a “pumpkin spice” color for our center mantle.

Pool pictures from Nana’s house a couple of weeks ago.  Tailynn is sportin’ her new bikini and Hennessey is floating in her new floatie & they are both doing a great job keeping those sunglasses on!

Also, floating is easier when you are on your back on the top step. 

What a blessing my oldest has been!  We can’t believe how time flies, but here we are at her third birthday already!!  We went to Organ Stop Pizza (if you’ve never been, go! it is very fun!) and then back to Nana & Papa’s house to have cake and open gifts.  Here are pictures & a video from the event!  Enjoy!

The girls are growing so fast these days!

Hennessey has gotten tooth #3, her top middle right, and the left is not far behind!  It came through on Monday 3/29/10.

And last night Tailynn slept ALL NIGHT in big girl panties without an accident!  She’s been doing really great for her naps for a few weeks, and last night she said “No mom! I want to wear my panties to bed!”  After another required trip to the potty, she was good as gold!

Hennessey is signing for more, eat, drink, and all done.  She only naps once a day, and thankfully they nap at the same time during the day!

The girls like to play together, too.  It doesn’t always go smoothly, but for the most part they are really nice to each other.

Hennessey’s birthday isn’t actually until the 21st, but we had her party today!  We had a fab dinner party with mostly family and a few friends.  A picture is worth 1,000 words, so here are a few thousand for you.
