Dec. 28th – Today I am wearing sweats and a ratty tank top (cleaning is fun!!), I have a huge zit on my chin, and my hair is a wreck.  Before going for her nap, Tailynn looks up at me and says “Mommy, you are beautiful.”  Thanks, daughter!  You are beautiful, too!

Tailynn is such a crack up these days!!  She’s talking in more complete sentences, and often makes us laugh with a random comment here and there.

Her favorite thing to eat is fruit, and she’ll eat “brown steak” (thanks T&K for lending the term), ham, and chicken with some prompting.  Veggies are pretty hit and miss.  And she LOVES jellybeans and M&M’s, and those are our potty rewards.

She loves musicals (like her mother!) and her favorite right now is Mamma Mia!  She constantly wants to “Dancing Queen” on the bed, and likes to imitate Meryl Streep’s jumping on the bed scene.  She’ll say “Dancing Queen, couch?”  and we reply with “No, we do Dancing Queen on the floor.”  And then she climbs down and starts to dance. 

She loves her baby sister, but now has to watch out for her hair!  Hennessey has taken to grabbing anything shiny within arm’s reach, so when they lay next to eachother, we’ll now frequently have a little hair pulling.  Tailynn is really patient about it, though, and just waits for one of us to rescue her hair from the clutches of her baby sister…  Ahhh, sibling life!
